The conditions in Hove for the first two day pre-season friendly between hosts Sussex County Cricket Club and visitors Kent County CC were more akin to a summer's day than an English spring day in March. A real treat for the few keen spectators in attendance.

A chance for the players to switch into competitive mode while honing skills ahead of the first fixtures of the season.
